Geolyse was in attendance with hundreds of students from over the Region at the Cantral West Annual Jobs Expo held at the Orange Function Centre this week.
Over 1500 Students from year 9-11 attended to look at potential career options with representation of over 81 businesses from the Region. An active local employer Geolyse showcased their services and spoke with over 150 students on their work experience and university work placement opportunities. Staff provided advice on study paths on how to become qualified in a particular profession and possible apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities with Geolyse.
Geolyse’s General Manger Greg Cooper noted “It was great to speak to so many passionate young people who come to events such as the Central West Annual Jobs Expo to help make informed decisions about their future”.
“There is a definite increase of students from last year with more students and businesses involved. The response was overwhelming, we fielded questions all day with a continuous stream of young engaged students”.
