Geolyse was the proud winner of the ‘Employer of Choice’ category in the 2015 Orange Business Chamber Awards.
The Orange Ex-Services’ Club Banjo Business Awards recognises organisations in the region for setting the benchmark for best practice, providing inspiration to businesses and the opportunity to celebrate achievements. The Employer of Choice Award recognised organisations that implemented strategies and initiatives to create stimulating and supportive workplace environments for its employees.
Geolyse CEO Greg Cooper was proud of the recognition of Geolyse’s role in the region and says “The team at Geolyse has been a proud employer in the Dubbo, Orange and more recently Oran Park regions for the past 10 years and we are committed to providing a range of roles to enhance the lives of our employees”.
Geolyse was recognised for its provision of skills, training, and increased work opportunities that employees are offered. Geolyse is committed to providing sustainable employment and new opportunities for young people throughout the Central NSW and Western Sydney regions. The company has implemented several scholorships programs in 2015 through Charles Sturt University and University of Newcastle as well as offering numerous traineeships in various areas.
Mr Cooper commented “It’s great to witness the positive impact that employment, vocational training and qualifications have on our employees and we are proud that Geolyse offers pathways to employment in a range of fields for our youth in the community”.
Held at the Orange Ex-Services’ Club, over 460 people joined the Orange Business Chamber to recognise and reward business excellence in Orange.
