SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER- Oran Park

SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER – ORAN PARK

Geolyse is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Oran Park Office. The role will involve experience in a high level of proven competence in managing projects/budgets in urban development consultancy, business development and client relationships. A desire to build a team of engineers within a multidisciplinary company and to deliver projects for clients is an essential part of the role.

Ideally you will have10+ years local experience with a qualification in Civil Engineering and experience in urban development projects and client based relationships. Capable of working both independently and within a team the successful applicant will be an all-rounder.

Essential Criteria
Your application must demonstrate how you meet the Essential Criteria

  • Experience in the management of urban design.
  • Qualification in Engineering and experience in management of projects and budgets.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, 12D and Modelling Software
  • Ability to take projects from Concept stage to Construction.
  • Ability to work proactively.
  • Understanding of Engineering principles.
  • Provide team leadership in production of design and documentation, manage drafting team and ensure work completed to program.
  • Assist office leader in business development, marketing and client development.
  • Understanding principles of WSUD,
  • Capable of accurately predicting time and effort to complete projects, keeping to programmes and coordinating with Project Managers

Accountabilities

  • Preparation of engineering designs suitable for both Development Applications and Construction Certificate Applications.
  • Maintain client reporting.
  • Provide team leadership in production and documentation, manage drafting team and ensure work completed to program.
  • Utilisation of engineering standards.
  • Comply with WHS requirements and Geolyse’s General Policies.

ARCHITECT/SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER - Orange

ARCHITECT/SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER – ORANGE

Geolyse is looking for the right person to continue to grow and build our architectural practice within the Central West. You will work on a diverse range of projects across all sectors of the residential, commercial and industrial sectors within a multidisciplinary company.

Ideally you will have 5-10 years local experience with a qualification in Architecture or extensive experience in documenting and delivering architectural projects. Capable of working both independently and within a team the successful applicant will be an all-rounder.

  • Qualification in Architecture or extensive experience in designing, managing and delivering architectural projects.
  • Strong documentation and detailing skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Sketchup, Photoshop desirable but not essential.

  • Understanding of Architectural and construction principles.

SURVEYOR - Oran Park Office

SURVEYOR – ORAN PARK

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Surveyor to join our team based in our Oran Park Office. The successful applicant will be involved in a range of survey and design related activities in a very busy practice.

Essential Criteria
Your application must demonstrate how you meet the Essential Criteria

  • Qualification in Surveying as a minimum.
  • Previous survey experience in general surveying works – set out, boundaries, detailed survey, GPS & robotics, data reduction and plan checking.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team or independently with direction.
  • Experience in using computer aided design packages.
  • Desire to become part of a rapidly growing office and community.

Desirable Criteria

  • 5-10 years experience or equivalent. .
  • Previous experience working independently including liaising with clients, preparing proposals and staff supervision.
  • Agreeable to work away overnight on project locations from time to time.
  • Experience in using Leica GPS and robotics.
  • Experience in using Civil 3D and/or 12D design packages.
