New Building Methodology
Instrumental in Design
Geolyse Architects were engaged by Norwood Park Crematoriums and novated to Hines Construction to complete the design and documentation for their new crematorium being constructed in Bathurst. The services provided for this project included Planning, Architecture, Survey and Civil Engineering.
Our Geolyse Architecture team provided the design concept and full architectural documentation for the Development Application and Construction Certificate submission. Geolyse planners made the necessary amendments and submission required to the existing Development Application. The contract was a design and construct contract between Norwood Park and Hines Construction.
Work commenced on site on 16th November 2012 . Geolyse continued to play a part in construction monitoring throughout the build process. Geolyse Surveyors are also working with Hines Construction having provided the site topography and ongoing work with building setout.
“The thing we are really pleased about is the way the building in Bathurst sits into the side of the hill, making it unobtrusive. We didn’t want it to be too much over the top and wanted to ensure it was in keeping with its surroundings and we have achieved that.” Mr Beer, General Manager, Norwood Park
